President's Message

Welcome to the Dalby Chamber website

It certainly is an exciting time to be at the helm of such a progressive organisation that continues to map out new direction for Dalby’s 96 year old Chamber of Commerce and Industry!

The year ahead brings challenges for the Chamber to manage growth and plan for the future of the organisation to ensure that it can continually meet the needs of the 179 strong membership base. New emerging industries and economic development bring a wealth of opportunity as well as consideration for proactive strategies to ensure that we are positioned favourably to meet the needs of the business and wider community.

Our key focus continues to involve activities that foster growth and prosperity for all local business and industry. The coming months will also see the continuation of training and professional development opportunities for locals, as well as our other important activities and events.

I would like to thank the dedicated management committee volunteers who work as an active steering committee to ensure the Chamber is proactive in its approach to working together to make Dalby a better place in which to live and do business. Will Rogers once said, ‘Even if you’re on the right track, you will get run over if you just sit there.’  It is to this effect that I thank the team at the Chamber office, Kerryn Calle, Jenny Lyell and trainee, Zoe Knobel who work tirelessly to ensure that our ever expanding events and activities are successfully delivered.

We can only continue to grow and prosper if we have both your support and feedback; please don’t hesitate to contact either the Chamber office or a management committee member to give us your thoughts and opinions.

Once again, thank you for being involved in the Dalby Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where collaboration and cooperation ensures we can all enjoy living and working in our wonderful region.
