Western Downs Skills Project

Recent Commonwealth funding through the Targeting Skills Needs in Regions Program has allowed for the implementation of a project that addresses labour and skills development in the Surat Energy Resources Province.

With the key goal of developing sustainable, vibrant and skilled regional communities, the implementation of the Western Downs Skills Project is timely – with significant growth expected in the Surat Basin area.  The Dalby Chamber of Commerce and Industry is managing the Dalby-Wambo aspect of the initiative.
