Busy at Work Career & Industry Evening 2025 

in May, the Dalby Chamber of Commerce & Industry, BEST Group and Dalby Junior Chamber proudly hosted the 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐫 & 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠, generously sponsored by BUSY At Work — and what a fantastic evening it was!

A huge thank you to all the businesses who gave their time, shared valuable insights, and showed great generosity in helping students explore potential career pathways. Your support is truly appreciated.

Students gained a wealth of knowledge across various industries, with many businesses offering a key piece of advice — Maths matters! It’s a vital skill that opens doors to countless future opportunities.

Origin DDPS Career & Jobs Expo 2025

In July, the Darling Downs Power Station Dalby Career & Jobs Expo was held at the PCYC Dalby - a fantastic showcase of career pathways!

Despite a frosty start, over 660 students and nearly 90 job seekers walked through the doors to connect with 140+ representatives from 50+ stalls. 🙌
From plate stacking, CPR demos to nursing, 3D printing, and the UQ Mobile Makers Space - making the day interactive, educational, and fun!

We are truly grateful to all the businesses who supported and showcased the wealth of career opportunities across our region.

🎓 Year 12 Graduation Breakfast – Coming This November 🥐☕

Join us as we come together to celebrate our graduating Year 12 students with a special Graduation Breakfast in the final week of school this November.

This is more than just breakfast—it’s a chance for our community to show support, encouragement, and pride as these young adults prepare to take their next big steps beyond school.

Let’s send them off knowing their town is behind them every step of the way. 💛
